Studies in Interior Design and Photography led me to My Art

WHY:  Drawing and painting bring me joy

INSPIRATION:  Observing lines, shapes, colour and text in my everyday - with a particular love of plant forms

HOW:  Combining abstracted elements from my photographs, sketches and gathered ideas using a variety of media and techniques working on paper and board

PROCESS:  By drawing, painting, mark making, ripping and sticking collage papers, I slowly build up the image like jigsaw puzzle construction

FINISH:  Expressing and capturing a feeling to physically look upon is a remarkable thing…. sharing that joy with others .… the icing on the cake
