Pencils, markers, charcoal, glue, saved ephemera, pen or even a stick with ink in hand can fill a sketchbook in no time.  There is always something to record which feels just right for those few minutes you have to spare.   A sketchbook, you can take anywhere, gives freedom to doodle at your heart’s content.  It is purely for the artist’s indulgence to record whatever, wherever.
